Color Management Discrepencies Between Bridge, ACR & Photoshop
hi - i've had color management issue can't wrap head around similar infamous thread: http://forums.adobe.com/message/3235601#3235601
i'm hoping little more information provided can figured out. basic problem bridge displays images markedly differently either acr or photoshop. common issue follows:
with external monitor primary display (and laptop monitor secondary), start bridge. photos seem in correct gamut moment, desaturates them if switching gamuts. opening image in acr or photoshop shows correct color. see below:
(note: on wide-gamut monitor, there's no clipping on acr version - that's how should look)
there various permuations problem depending on monitor have on when start bridge, above general workflow.
some background:
lenovo thinkpad t430s w/ integrated intel hd4000 graphics
asus proart series pa246q (wide gamut)
photoshop cs6 (using 16-bit prophotorgb standard workspace)
datacolor spyder4 calibrating both monitors
my settings:
i know there bunch of variables, see glaring issues might explain problem?
thanks!

those 3 color-managed application each transform/convert colors monitor profile -- if displaying differently -- first verify source profile each app using, , second, monitor profile each app displaying through on each monitor
external monitor primary display (and laptop monitor secondary)
that's debacle suspect, success dependent on number of factors including os, video driver , app bugs/behavior
including hardware design limitations...
