Thread: Compiz effects are not that smooth...

i have dell inspiron 15r series laptop...
configuration follows :-

intel i5 processor
4gb of ram
1gb dedicated ati graphic processor
500 gb hdd

problem compiz effects buggy...
desktop cube effect...
buggy in panel while rotating gets varied color...
not

can please ?

ps :- compiz works on opengl (i assume). how can put on dedicated graphics ?

i got dell 1464 500 mb 4330 ati card; rest of specs yours. using open-source drives smooth effects , video playback, apparently video card overheats (my laptop gets hot fan running @ max). installed last proprietary drives (catalyst 11.11) , heat problem solved, 3d effects (like maximizing, minimizing, etc.) choppy. got rid of tearing "tear free" option. still video playback kind of laggy , tweaked vlc little improvement. i've search during months hoping solve issue it's been way time , there's no solution far. next time, plan buy laptop video card supported.
know not answer expected, intend let know shouldn't waste time on trying solve issue unlikely solved amd (they don't pay enough attention open-source community; seems busy windows , apple).

Upgrade 3.4.8 to 3.5.1 failed "download package failed" - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi -- after after loading files of joomla 3.5 program, went site , tried open complete installation. got message: fatal error: require_once(): failed opening required '/homepages/37/d199794875/htdocs/gnustories/libraries/import.legacy.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php5.5') in /homepages/37/d199794875/htdocs/gnustories/includes/framework.php on line 15 ran fpa program. hope way make available here. http://gnustories.org/fpa-en.php winku your domain name seems not working - not showing fpa report php page holding page generated isp (1 & 1) the easier way generate report fpa script , copy reply of thread (that intended way done). suggest review instructions on generating report makes format suitable forum.
