Thread: LTSP Thin Client - Limited Desktop

hi all,

have ubuntu 11.10 ltsp set , able login thin client. problem thin client desktop bare. has 11.10 purple wallpaper , gray menu bar across top, 'file edit view go bookmarks help' listed on menu bar.

there isn't launcher on left side , there no icons on top right (i.e. network status, sound, time, account, settings). tried adjusting resolution of thin clients , switching between older laptop thin client , newer laptop thin client same result.

assume missing simple? maybe has unity desktop or user account settings?

i have found workaround not ideal works. if install kde host pc (opening terminal , typing 'sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop' without quotes ) , when loading client select session preferences > session > either kde plasma workspace or kubuntu depending on version , permanently stay user

Joomal 3.6.3 update error - PHP temporary folder is not set - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi -- after after loading files of joomla 3.5 program, went site , tried open complete installation. got message: fatal error: require_once(): failed opening required '/homepages/37/d199794875/htdocs/gnustories/libraries/import.legacy.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php5.5') in /homepages/37/d199794875/htdocs/gnustories/includes/framework.php on line 15 ran fpa program. hope way make available here. http://gnustories.org/fpa-en.php winku your domain name seems not working - not showing fpa report php page holding page generated isp (1 & 1) the easier way generate report fpa script , copy reply of thread (that intended way done). suggest review instructions on generating report makes format suitable forum.
