Horizontal spry menu bar is giving me nightmares

i have 2 problems can't solve.

 

problem #1. can't figure out why spry menu bar looks different in safari in firefox , chrome. it's if safari doesn't recognize i've customized width, background, , hover color.

 

this how should look:

problem #2. "contact" tab wide when hover on it. tab behaves way:

it might worth adding i'm total newbie , first website i've ever designed. i'm not code, if there ways fix these problems in "design" tab of dreamweaver, preferred.

 

any appreciated in advance, thanks!

why struggle that's obsolete?  adobe abandoned spry last year.

Upgrade 3.4.8 to 3.5.1 failed "download package failed" - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi -- after after loading files of joomla 3.5 program, went site , tried open complete installation. got message: fatal error: require_once(): failed opening required '/homepages/37/d199794875/htdocs/gnustories/libraries/import.legacy.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php5.5') in /homepages/37/d199794875/htdocs/gnustories/includes/framework.php on line 15 ran fpa program. hope way make available here. http://gnustories.org/fpa-en.php winku your domain name seems not working - not showing fpa report php page holding page generated isp (1 & 1) the easier way generate report fpa script , copy reply of thread (that intended way done). suggest review instructions on generating report makes format suitable forum.
