Thread: iOs 5 + ubuntu 11.10 = bad combination

so, i'm not ubuntu "newb", still don't know much. should have realized, however, isn't wise update computer , ipod on same day brand new software versions.... well, late did ~_~.

i've searched net, there literally nothing out there yet support on issue find. have ios 5 ipod touch 3rd gen , ubuntu 11.10. have libimobile , sync working perfect before updates. first time tried sync banshee, popped "unhandled lockdown error (-4)". updated multiple things again update manager , restarted. error gone, real problem starts. now, whenever link banshee, get's 10-30% through music before crashing (this not when it's syncing ipod, it's before says "preparing sync"). tried using smaller number of songs and, while loaded ok, crashed during "preparing sync" , ipod screen did not change.

i'm assuming bug since it's fresh after release, want make sure there isn't else can do. let me know whatever else information can you.

yeah did , , i'm having exact same problem, when copying 1 song on banshee needs convert it, , when syncs ipod can't see it.
