no matter audio player use, amarok or audacious, playback stuttering. notice when click on within firefox, because that's application have open most.

imo, amarok's interface cluttered , difficult use, tried go banshee (after using in gnome). unfortunately, if gtk+ appearance theme set oxygen-gtk, banshee fails load @ all. if set raleigh, loads, doesn't work. so, tried audacious.

find that, despite audacious claiming have "small footprint," still stuttering. it's not bad amarok's, it's noticeable. it's less amarok's stuttering, @ least.

edit: amarok music player on system works keyboard's media keys. therefore, if me stop amarok , painfully stuttering when click link, load page, or close/reopen tab in firefox, it'd appreciated!

i realized it's firefox; apparently gtk+ applications cause stuttering. in rekonq, it's fine. however, don't being limited this. enjoy firefox (one of main reasons being ability sync bookmarks using xmarks or built-in firefox sync. afaik, rekonq has no support this).

know how gtk+ apps/firefox stop stuttering?
