Thread: smb/cifs and samba don't install correctly

i new ubuntu , installed 11.10 on machine. down loaded both of these programs via "ubuntu software center. both claimed installed, however, during install stopped , said "installarchives() failed reading database" selected ok , finished, claiming both of them installed. when select icon "samba" nothing happens , no screen comes making settings? removed both programs , installed using apt-get - no difference. help!!! able set shares , network work group.

what programs did install?

Remove survey pop up - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i have small box slides bottom right of webpage asking if want participate in survey related site. i plan remove/modify survey pop cant find located in joomla control panel. i've searched modules on home page menu comes up, template index.php, extensions, plugins, modules cant find related it. where commonly located ? suggest go extensions>manage>manage , order on id descending. show extensions added joomla. id's >10000. must 1 of them! Error when I try to record application simulation in Adobe Presenter 8

hello, have 30 day trial of adobe presenter 8 , subscription adobe captivate 6.  record application simulation within presenter, receive error after entering swf-name states captivate cannot started , check see if captivate configured run in administrator mode.
