internal server error
the server encountered internal error or misconfiguration , unable complete request.

please contact server administrator @ support@webhosting.be inform them of time error occurred, , actions performed before error.

more information error may available in server error log.

i thought file corrupted in transfer, when put them in sub-folder....everything works again without problem?!.. (front-end & back-end accessible , ok)

thx in advance!

hi tehre,

can please check below points ?

1. firstly check permission cache, logs, tmp & administrator/cache directories. should 755.

if there no issue check other files , directories permission. file permission should 644 , directory permission should 755.

2. please access joomla configuration file (configuration.php), check below code -

======================================================================
$log_path = 'xxxxxxxxxxxxx'; -----------------> replace $log_path = './logs';
$tmp_path = 'xxxxxxxxxxxxx'; -----------------> replace $tmp_path = './tmp';
======================================================================

it should fix issue. if there still error check below possibilities too.

3. please make sure there no issue '.htaccess' file. if you'll find irrelevant code in file i'd suggest, download existing '.htaccess' file , upload new joomla '.htaccess' file.

4. check if there php compatibility issue , make sure check 'php.ini' file.

6. check presence of malicious files/codes/scripts. if you'll find malicious files/codes/scripts, remove , upload new file.

6. make sure there no extension issue.

7. check error logs.

if installation brand new i'd suggest, reinstall joomla on service.

let me know if you've thoughts on it. :)
