Thread: NTDLR not found (not dual boot)

hi i've been using ubuntu 64bit exclusively on machine 2 years , had message @ boot saying in german(!) ntdlr not found. managed boot ubuntu ctrl-alt-del f3 , chose hard disk boot from. grub loads.

google searches mention windows , dual booting. machine has never had ubuntu installed on dual booting not issue. i'd able boot straight in normal.

intend upgrade 10.10 11.10 in next few weeks if make difference.
in advance
richard

ntldr windows bootloader. open terminal , run:
code:
sudo update-grub
this force re-scan operating systems, , it'll convince don't have windows installed!
