Thread: Vista Dual Boot with Ubuntu 10.04 (now removed) GRUB Error

i trying upgrade ubuntu 10.04 10.10 yesterday , brother formatted partition on ubuntu existed vista's disk management. both ubuntu , vista inaccessible. grub throwing partition related error (no such partition).

how suppose fix ?

(big trouble - vista oem installation on laptop, no dvd hp , recovery partition used ubuntu installation, lost one-click vista recovery prompt during boot. have ubuntu 10.04 live cd , there no ways can create boot cd or borrow other folks there no computers around town.)

the simplest solution is, since have ubuntu 10.04 intallation cd/livecd , reinstall ubuntu 10.04 before , reinstalled grub find , restore windows vista.
