Two brush questions...

what asterisk beside illustrator cs6 brush cursor? , why art brush paler version of selected spot colour? have selected colour in swatches , when draw brush, paler version. life of me can't figure out art brush options hue. either black brush or pale colour.

Error when I try to record application simulation in Adobe Presenter 8

hello, have 30 day trial of adobe presenter 8 , subscription adobe captivate 6.  record application simulation within presenter, receive error after entering swf-name states captivate cannot started , check see if captivate configured run in administrator mode.
