hello, i'm new joomla. i have created website in joomla on laptop. i'd publish on live webserver. i've installed joomla on web server, , moved files on (i'm taking course through lynda.com , have followed instructions there) - think i've done part correctly. now need import database. when try this, error "#1044 - access denied user 'ahanc_root'@'%' database 'joomla' " my web host forces sql user names begin first 4 letters of site username @ beginning of new sql user names create (hence ahanc_). i have created same user name in local sql database, same password, , full permissions. i still error when try import database. am missing here? thanks amber on host services, when assign user database, grant privileges user. hello - i have data entry , update forms placed in articles. data entry form, accessed directly, works fine. all records displayed user in sortable ari data table, has link each record pop in update form editing. however, update form supposed appear pre-filled , not, although id indicated in ari data table link. also, if enter data , submit, "404 error: article not found" instead of staying on page. before putting data entry table jdatabase, worked. since i've had rewrite script , i'm falling short somewhere. think problem form or script on form page. if has working script prefill form, please help? appreciated. it may have sef url's on , not working correctly... consider turning off. i have old computer want turn server. when installed ubuntu server 11.10, wireless card recognized , able connect wireless network. after rebooting, cannot connect anymore. suspect rt2800pci driver blame, built , copied ralink driver computer /lib/modules/3.0.0-12-generic/kernel/drivers/staging/rt2860/rt2860sta.ko. added rt2860sta /etc/modules , blacklisted rt2800pci, r2800usb, etc , rebooted. when run: code: $lspci -k , shows wireless card has loaded rt2800pci , rt2860sta, without driver use it. running code: iwconfig shows no wireless connections. want try build on server, don't know how install package without internet connection (there no ethernet connection on computer). suggestions or other possible solutions? i've had several versions of ubuntu or linux mint installed on dell latitude d505, first time i've experienced "fault". due poor battery life i've got 2 batteries. normal one, , second battery sits in disk drive bay.
