i have desktop pc ssd , plan on buying laptop. buying ssd expensive me , got used speed of ssd. idea share ssd between 2 computers, switching in , out everytime use 1 of them. question now, however, how best that. @ moment have 10gb linux partition (i think ext-something) , 100 gb ntfs partition windows , windows programs/data on it. ideal me if use same partition both pcs have same programs , configuration , everything, problematic both require different drivers. possible put in "branches" load stuff depending on computer detected? or better create 2 more partitions, 1 laptop ubuntu , 1 shared data. or move shared data (my home folder) ntfs partition, shrink desktop ubuntu partition 5 mb , create second partition laptops ubuntu. have in gui , os twice (for example have terminal background). there done links? possible on boot automate computer uses partition? don't want have choose in boot manager in each boot. best course of action me here? ...

i'm using ubuntu 11.10 , ran massive problem trying install anonymity software jondo. not familiar ubuntu, having used few months on 1 of 2 computers own. downloaded software repository jondo , ran using ubuntu software center. software center, had been slow load, lagged unacceptably after clicked "install". "install" button became "installing" accompanying progress bar, became "install" again. pressed "install" again, after "installing" tab appeared. clicked on , showed me 2 copies of jondo being installed, 1 queued after other. canceled second, after returning previous tab, appeared both copies had stopped installing. assumed installation had failed , restarted computer in hope software center run more quickly. after rebooting noticed jondo had in fact installed, surprising. started fine later froze. rebooted again make jondo go away. time after rebooting got error on top taskbar, saying followin...

ok, last night did 2 things: 1- upgraded new ati catalyst 11.10 driver (which fixed few bugs). other is, tried remove pulseaudio , use alsa instead. because couldn't sound out of firefox of time (sometimes worked, not). other reason pulse seemed bog down machine. alsa worked fine awhile. had sound in firefox, had volume control, seemed fine. now, have no sound @ all, no hardware showing in sound settings, , can't life of me remember did backtrack. write down time, reason, didn't. don't know begin. think dove water far deep experience level. if can please me out, i've ran out of ideas. i'll supply info want, give me command. i'm running oneiric on hp laptop radeon hd 4200. forget it. great time start scratch. so i'm working project has many, many layers. there way perhaps group of layers together? eyes go in folder , mouths go in another? maybe there's can in illustrator or photoshop sort them out? it called pre-compose. useful tool. select layers want in group , choose layer>pre-compose or ctrl/cmnd + shift + c. give new composition of layers. it's kind of creating layer group in photoshop , making layer group smart object.   if want keep layers in same comp can select ones want group , right click on little colored box layer name , choose new color layers. makes layers selectable (select label group) , can use  shy feature hide or reveal selected layers. use label groups in every project has more 2 or 3 layers. in illustrator cs6 (16.2.0, 64 bit) exporting artboard grayscale tiff , resulting file 1 point large, leaving transparent strip on 1 edge. exporting artboard png works fine. not using align pixel grid. ideas? after posted forum recommended other postings read (which  did not come when searching),  , found interesting aspect of this. artboard 504 x 317 points,  resulted in tiff being 504 x 318,  transparent strip on bottom. when changed art board dimensions (504 x 318), problem went away. live having dimensions divisible two, seems bug, since affects tiffs , not pngs.   by way, related tiff export bug in illustrator compression not work.  photoshop can correctly create lzw-compressed tiff,  illustrator not. greetings, been while since type of issue visited , post latest findings on latest crop of problem. seem the developers of teamspeak 3 had 1 version of libmysqlclient150ff in mind when developed mysql support ts3. had ts3 server running bit on ubuntu 10.04 , things we're fine till decided needed update linux box 11.10. rather upgrade system using commands started scratch , blew away. fresh install installed following packages, mysql-client , mysql-server these no longer supply needed libmysqlclient15off beta version of ts3 using before. so, after getting system , seeing mysql db running smoothly went ahead , downloaded latest linux 32bit variety of ts3 server no longer in beta. popped on machine, configured ini files appropriate information , setup ts3 user used execute whole mess. went ahead , tried run first time keys , voila, doesnt there again no libmysqlclient.so.15 happen have copy of actual package previous ts3 server running happily in beta...

hello there. recently, started seeing these errors on site (front end , end): undefined index: o0b6 in /home/kalderson454/public_html/libraries/legacy/controller/legacy.php on line 1 undefined index: d9e0a in /home/kalderson454/public_html/libraries/cms/html/select.php on line 1 my site working fine , 1 day these errors showed unprovoked (at least don't think did create these errors). functionality on site works can tell, i'm not sure errors about. can there me figure out these errors , how fix them? thanks. nevermind, everyone. used live update latest version of joomla (3.6.2) , errors went away. just downloaded ubuntu 11.10 64 bits. not work on toshiba laptop x505 qosmio @ ! live cd crashes , suspect video chispset drama. same disc used in desktop asus motherboard, nvidia pci express in 64 bits , 8 gig of ram no problems. toshiba runs via usb mac osx lion, yes, no dramas this. think linux has never gets there totally. put people off , difficult defeat win 7 !
